Mt. Horeb - Founded in 1824

All Are Welcome
Founded in 1824, the Mt. Horeb congregation has a long history in the Methodist tradition of Christian worship and community outreach. Our church is a member of the Somerset Hills Regional Ministry, a team of seven local Methodist churches working together to better serve our and community.

Sunday Services
Worship begins at 10:30 am every Sunday and ends with a traditional coffee hour fellowship. Children participate in the beginning of service before moving to Sunday School.  The last Sunday each month service is held in Codington Hall, a handicap-accessible building.

Community Outreach
Mt. Horeb has a strong, on-going commitment to help those in need.  Our diverse outreach mission includes drives to collect and supplies for donation to area shelters and local families.  We also utilize our commercial kitchen to prepare and serve food monthly at local soup kitchens and at events in our own Codington Hall.  Our Vacation Bible School, a summer camp for children held annually the second week in August, is open to children of all faiths. As an extension of our community outreach, we are a proud sponsor of Warren Boy Scout Troop 228.

Team ASP
Teams of adult and youth volunteers will set out on their annual mission trip this summer to the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia where they'll make homes warmer, safer and drier.
