Mt. Horeb - Founded in 1824

All Are Welcome
Founded in 1824, the Mt. Horeb congregation has a long history in the Methodist tradition of Christian worship and community outreach.

Sunday Services
Worship begins at 10:30 am every Sunday and ends with a traditional coffee hour fellowship. Children participate the beginning of service before moving to Sunday School.  The last Sunday each month service is held in Codington Hall, a handicap-accessible building.

Community Outreach
Mt. Horeb has a strong, on-going commitment to help those in need.  Our diverse outreach mission includes drives to collect supplies for donation to area shelters and local families.  We also utilize our commercial kitchen to prepare and serve food monthly at local soup kitchens and at events in our own Codington Hall.  We collect items for UMCOR flood bucket.  As an extension of our community outreach, we are a proud sponsor of Warren Boy Scout Troop 228. We are also a meeting space for Girl Scouts and a Square Dance group.

Team ASP
Teams of adult and youth volunteers go to the Appalachian Region each year to make homes warmer, safer and drier.
